How well do you know your child’s youth sports coach? Or any of the coaches helping out, for that matter?
An informed sports parents is ready to make the most of his child’s youth sports experience. He’s ready to support, encourage, volunteer, and guide his young athlete through the ups and downs of the upcoming season.
This week, I wrote a post on Coachup about the 6 Questions You Should ask Your Child’s Coach. If you know the answers to these 6 questions before your child starts the season, then you are an informed and prepared sports parent. If not, don’t take anything for granted, take the time to get to know your child’s coach, either at the parent meeting or in a one-on-one conversation. It’s for your own peace of mind and the safety of your child.
Have you seen my latest ebook? If you are a coach’s spouse or know of one, this book will get you through the season!
