Fair Treatment in Youth Sports does not always look as we’d like it to. Does it mean that coaches should treat all kids the same?
If you’d asked me that question at the beginning of my sports parenting journey, I would have said yes, absolutely! Of course it does!
When my kids were little, I thought everything about youth sports should be fair. And for awhile, it was pretty fair.
Then my kids grew up and after 21 years of sports parenting and 28 years of being a coach’s wife, my answer to that question has tweaked a bit.
