I once heard a sports parent say: “My kids are playing sports so my life is on hold.”
If you are a busy sports parent, whose time is filled with games, practices, team meetings, carpooling, and cleaning uniforms, it’s easy to feel stifled because your child’s schedule has taken over your life.
I remember many seasons when all three of my kids were playing a sport at the same time. It was hectic. And when my two high school basketball players were in season, we were out at games four nights a week. You know that kind of craziness?
