I’d like you to introduce him to Charlotte Brown, a BLIND pole vaulter who is probably headed for college track after high school because she is doing so well. Her story is amazing. Take a few minutes and share it with your young athlete:
Not only am I inspired by Charlotte’s story, I’m inspired by her parents, who got out of the way and let her pursue her dream. I honestly don’t know if I would have had their courage.

An obstacle is just that; it can be moved, it can be jumped over.
At the end of the day, what you really have to do is to look fear in the face and you have to smile, even if you can’t see it.
So many of us focus on what we don’t have and what we can’t do, but instead of looking at why we should and how we can.
