4 questions to ask when looking for private sports coaching

When the time comes for you to choose a coach to help your child further develop his athletic skills, do you know what to look for?

Searching the yellow pages or googling online for private sports coaching does not always provide the most reliable resources. And when it comes to your kids–their safety, their development–you don’t want to take any chances!

There is a new resource coming in July for parents who are not willing to gamble with their kids’ safety in order to help them further their skills.

Wanting to make youth sports safe, efficient, and welcoming, a team of parents, coaches, and athletes is preparing to launch a new site called BookaCoach.com. Their desire is to provide a place where you, parents and coaches, can connect, finding the best coach/athlete fit so that your child may get the most out of private coaching and as a result, have a more positive youth sports experience.

Ask the right questions

BookaCoach.com encourages you as a parent to ask the right questions as you look for a coach:

  • Do I know my child is safe?

BookaCoach.com will focus heavily on safety for your child. Each coach that joins their site must go through a rigorous background check. If you choose one of their coaches you can be assured that your child will be safe being left alone with him/her.

  • Who’s watching out for my child?

BookaCoach.com will adhere to a strick no tolerance policy on anything questionable they find in background checks, they will not tolerate coaches who violate their own website policies 3 times, they will require annual background checks, and they will provide a way for parents to report suspicious or criminal activity.

  • Is this coach the right fit for my child?

BookaCoach.com will pair your child with a coach who is qualified to work with your child’s specific age and skill level. In their concern for safety, they want coaches that will teach your child the proper technique. Getting the right coach for your child is critical to insuring that your athlete has a positive and rewarding youth sports experience.

  • Is the process smooth?

With an easy quick click scheduling process and a no-hassle payment plan, BookaCoach.com will be user-friendly, efficient, and convenient.

Keep in Touch

Here’s the plan. BookaCoach.com will launch in July and their goal is to offer coaching in all major metropolitan cities by the fall. The best way for you to stay in touch and keep informed of their progress and launching is to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Follow them for helpful youth sports tips and hear news of their launching.

Yes, this is a paid review. But I stand by my promise to only review products that I think will help sports parents and their children have a better experience in youth sports.
